Mana Oori Vanta was started by two well-educated homemakers who can make pickles in such a way that each bite of rice you take with our pickles will be a feast for your taste buds. For the past 33 years, this has been more of a tradition than a business. We believe everyone should taste our pickles at least once — only then will you truly understand the difference.
We are guided by the wisdom of a couple of grandmothers, who have fed hundreds of families with their decades of homemade pickling experience. Our pickles are 100% homemade using only fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced straight from nature. Every batch is made with the care and love we would use for our own families. We use only the best quality oils to ensure the rich taste that you experience in every bite.
While our mommy-granny style pickles were gaining popularity, one of our customers said, “Why don’t you share and supply these? They remind me of my childhood.” Tasting our pickles brought back memories of his granny’s cooking — and that nostalgic moment encouraged us to spread this joy to many more.
But we didn’t stop there. We wanted to revive even more memories for our customers, so we started offering exotic and rare fruits and flowers too. These weren’t just exotic in nature — they were once everyday delights sold by street vendors outside our schools. We now offer forgotten childhood treasures like Thati Munjalu, Thati Tegalu, Regi Pallu, Eetha Pallu, Kale Kayalu, Bikki Kayalu, and many more.
This generation may not have even heard of some of these fruits — but we know our happy customers remember buying them after school, just like we did.
